Why we stand out from the rest Since the Welsh Factor Competitions were launched in 2009, the Contestants who have turned Professional or Semi Professional have earned in Excess of £1,000,000 between them, The Company has grown from strength to strength, creating self employment jobs for people who have dreamed of a career in the world of Show business! The Welsh Factor is the longest running Welsh based Talent Show organised by GTMP Entertainment Group, which will be celebrating over 33 years in business this year. They are the only Agency with an Academy to train future Artistes to prepare them for a future within the entertainment industry. Since the competitions have started, many former contestants have been placed in production shows where they have gained experience working with teams of professional artistes prior to venturing out on their own as solo artistes in their own right. Our Judges come from varied backgrounds within the world of Show Business such as Management Agents, Bookers, Performance Teachers, Singing Teachers, Professional Artistes, Record Producers, Show Producers, Dance Teachers, representing experience from production shows, the world of Radio, Television and recording. We also like to include guest judges of former Contestants of the Welsh factor at various times as we find it is nice to see someone on the panel who has been in the same place as the contestant standing on the very same stage where they started their career. The organisers and judges are always on hand on the evening during the break or at the end of the competition to answer any questions or give advice about your performance or any general query about the business, we are always on hand to help launch your career and help secure work for you when you are ready in the future. We set the standards other talent shows follow The Competition: The competition is run in Venues throughout South Wales and everyone who believes they have talent is welcome to apply to enter any competition from the ages of 5 years old to 150 years old. The structure of the competition is run over eight weeks in one venue although this is not set in stone it is the format we have at present. The first four weeks are called the “1st Round Heats”. This is followed by three weeks of the “Semi-Finals” ending with the Grand Final. The Prizes on offer in every competition is £800-00 cash prizes. This sum of money will be divided into relevant denominations as the organisers see fit. At present a rule of thumb would be £500-00 for the winner, £200-00 for second prize and £100-00 for third place. As an extra there will also be an offer of a contract with a leading South Wales Entertainment Agency (terms and conditions apply), so there is everything to play for. The Welsh Factor will be working in collaboration with the very prestigious Miss Universe Wales Pageant Competition for all their exclusive corporate events. The Welsh Factor Brand will be part of the Entertainment section, which will be hand picking the very best to showcase at these wonderful events.
