August 2011 Welsh Factor News:
It is this time of year that the Welsh Factor Team take a break for the summer after a very busy few months competitions we take this time to have a holiday and recharge our batteries! Through the summer some of members of the team work on new ideas to see which way we can make the Welsh Factor better for everyone. After two very busy competitions, we look at signing up some of the contestants that we thought really stood out and which way we can develop them to create for them a future in the Entertainment Industry. Corrin Casini our head judge will be running a summer school for anyone who would like to have a future in this business. In the summer school, Corrin will be working with some of the students on Harmonies for their group numbers and also on their solo sets as well as showing them how to put a show together.
The highlight of the last two competitions for the Welsh Factor were where there was an increase in the amount of contestants who brought new ideas to their act, such as the costumes, backing dancers and the way they had their music mixed into other tracks. That just shows us that there is a lot of talent our there waiting to be discovered! August will see the start of the Owen Money search for a Star Competition which will be held in the Hi Tide in Porthcawl, every year we always work with Owen Money on his Talent Show, if you would like to enter you will need to phone the Hi Tide to book your place on 01656 782432 you might even see some of the judges from the Welsh factor in the panel!
