June 2011 Welsh Factor News:
The Welsh Factor Team would like to wish Helen Enser Morgan the very best for the future as her work commitments with radio and singing engagements are increasing. We would like to thank Helen for doing an amazing job with the Welsh Factor for the last 2 years and she will be missed by so many people.
The Welsh Factor has been invited to the CIA on the 29th June to the X-Factor and to meet the Team afterwards, Anna Marie Thomas, Garfield Jenkins, Lee Jukes & Gareth Owen will be going up to represent the Team on the day.
June is Semi Final Fever Month! The amounts of outstanding Talent we have come across in the 2 shows have been unbelievable! We would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone good luck who have gained a place in the Final‘s of the Welsh Factors in Port Talbot & Mountain Ash. July will see 2 new Winners of the Welsh Factor for 2011!
We would like to Welcome and thank Mr. Lee Jukes for stepping in last minute and joining the Team as our new compere for the rest of the Welsh Factor competitions taking part this year.

In October Lee will be running the half marathon in aid of Macmillian Cancer Support. All the Welsh Factor Team will be supporting & encouraging him to achieve his goal in aid of this well deserved charity.

Lee has been invited to go to the Queens Garden Party being held in Buckingham Palace in July for services to Charity fundraising. We will keep you all updated next month on how his trip went.
The format of the welsh Factor in changing in the Autumn with the start of the JK’s Competition, the show will now run for a period of 9 weeks – 5 Heats, 3 Semi Finals & 1 Final, the prize money will be 1st Prize £500 2nd Prize £200 3rd Prize £100, The Winner of each competition will be the Winner for that region and will be given a place in the main Grand Final of the “WINNER OF THE WELSH FACTOR WALES” at the end of the year.
we have decided to change the formula as we can take the Welsh Factor to other area’s in Wales where the Welsh Factor has not had the opportunity to afford people with talent entering these competitions due to our schedules of holding longer heats. |
