May 2011 Welsh Factor News:
The Welsh Factor would like to congratulate Jay Worley for getting through to the Semi Finals on Britain’s Got Talent, Jay came 2nd place in the very first Welsh Factor held in Merthyr June 2008 over three years ago, it's nice to see him progress to this stage in this national competition.
We have released our first music video with the Welsh Factor’s runner up Jessica McNeil, Jessica is currently No.1 in the Welsh Classical Charts with Ave Maria on Reverbnation. If you have got time, take a quick look at her on our video page.
Jessica will be releasing her first album very shortly titled “NEW HORIZON” the song on the video “Blowing in the Wind” will be featured on this album.
The Video was produced by Chris & Phil Davies from www.iforcom-group.com who work very closely with us in the welsh Factor, they are a dedicated film and photography company based in maesteg, we would like to thank them for all their amazing work they have done within the Welsh Factor regarding filming and photography.
We are very sad to seeing one of our main judges Miss Ali Delgado leave the panel for a move to Spain, she will be dearly missed by all the welsh factor Team and Judges. We wish Ali the very best of Luck and looking forward to her trip back to come and visit us again hopefully in December, It has been a privilege to work with Ali for over 3 years since we spotted her on the first Welsh factor in Merthyr and signed her to GTMP Entertainment Group.
We will be coming to the end of the quarter final in the middle of June and starting the Semi Finals, good luck to all the contestants who have taken part in the competitions.
One of the organizers of the Welsh Factor Anna Marie Thomas, had the pleasure of being invited to the Mayor’s Office to meet the Officials from Neath Port Talbot Council to be congratulated on her Award for Business Person of the Year from Bay Radio, on this trip Anna took her Parents Gareth & Natercia Thomas, her Niece, Auntie & Uncle, Anna’s Auntie received an MBE from the Queen the week before in Windsor Castle for her work with the Salvation Army for over 40 Years on which she also took Anna & Gareth to go and receive her Medal. |
