The organisers of the Welsh Factor Talent Shows welcome aboard Music Wales Ltd, Wales’s leading Record Company.

For the first time in the history of light entertainment a Talent Competition Company and a major Record Company based in Wales have joined forces to promote talent in the country! This provides Artistes entering the Welsh Factor Talent Competitions with new opportunities and more options in the promotion of their careers.

The National Final of the Welsh Factor will take place at the end of 2012. All Winners and runner ups from 2010, 2011, 2012 Competitions will be placed automatically into the Semi Finals of the main National Welsh Factor Talent Competition and if successful will qualify for the National Grand Final at a Venue to be confirmed.  All Contestants that enter the Welsh factor competition in the Regional Finals until the end of 2012 will automatically be eligible for National playoff Semi Finals and if successful can qualify for the Grand Final. 

This means that all contestants who wish to enter our new competitions still have a chance to enter for the National Competition to win the main prize of a week recording in Music Wales Ltd studios and 1,000 CD’s!  A proportion of these CDs’ will be distributed to their local major stores in their area accompanied with a VIP Launch Night where the press will be invited and a tour launched to promote their Album.

The winner will be known as the Champion Welsh Factor Winner for the year 2012 and will hold this title for one year as this will become a National event year after year. They will also be rewarded by having their own designated website sponsored by Artiste Management Entertainment Agency.

The Welsh Factor would also announce that Artiste Management now represents Mr Lee Jukes for all professional appearances such as product launches, private functions, and the Host & Compere of the Welsh Factor.

Lee is a very popular South Wales Radio personality, DJ and Compere. He was born in South Wales and brought up in Southern England, where his parents moved to seek work. He joined the Royal Navy at the age of 17. When he left the forces he trained in accountancy, but it was always show business that interested him the most. Lee started his radio career as a producer and then got his big break when he was offered a chance to host a week day show. He now works for the biggest radio group in Wales, Town and Country Broadcasting Limited. They operate 8 radio stations across South and West Wales. He recently set up his own charity called ‘the Great Charity Appeal’ and charity work remains a big commitment for him. He’s helped raise in excess of £20,000 for charity in the last 18 months. Lee also recently ran the Cardiff half marathon for Macmillan cancer support. The half marathon fund is up to £4,500 and he’s working hard to get it closer to £5,000. You can hear Lee weekdays between 11am and 2pm on 102.1 Bay Radio in Swansea and South West Wales and also between 2pm and 7pm on 106.3 Bridge FM in Bridgend County. He’s hosted many stage shows and talent contests across the UK and is very proud to be the main host of the Welsh Factor.
